The Holding Space guides the healing journey by providing counselling and psychotherapy services. The Holding Space’s holistic approach aims to help you to develop skills that support you in transforming your life, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or any other challenge you may be experiencing. Our approach to therapy not only helps you deal with the stresses of the world, but fosters empowerment that allows you to flourish in your everyday life.

About

What does “holding space” mean?

 

“Holding space” involves being energetically and physically present for someone else to have space to be vulnerable, authentic, & share what is on their minds and in their hearts.

And that is what I do! I practice empathy, compassion, and nonjudgment to create a safe and open place for you to navigate your healing journey.

With a background in social service work, I have worked with a diverse array of individuals from all walks of life. In 2022 I graduated from Yorkville University with my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have additional certifications as Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist from the Arizona Institute.

I belong to the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying status), and am a member in good standing with Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists.
